University Counseling Services and the Student Health Center can provide your student with mental healthcare and general medical care, while the Department of Public Safety is available around the clock to provide both emergency and non-emergency assistance to your student should they ever need it.

Your student will also have access to the Center for Academic Excellence, which provides a multi-faceted academic support program and also houses your student’s Academic Advisor. Additionally, there are many specialty offices that can assist your student with various needs, including the Career Center, Information Technology Services, Center for Diversity and Inclusion, Office of Student 访问 and Disability Services.

If you’re concerned about the cost of college for your student, know that Truman is consistently ranked as a “Best Value College” for high-quality academics. Truman’s merit-based scholarship program is one of the most generous in the country, your student may qualify for one or several of Truman’s automatic and competitive scholarships.

The Office of Financial Aid is the perfect resource for you or your student if you have questions about federal, 状态, 或当地 贷款, loan applications, need-analysis packets, 奖助金, or work study 选项. You are encouraged to complete and file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) so that your student can be considered for need-based financial assistance.
